Anahí Giovanna Puente Portilla De Antunes was born born on May 14, 1983 in Mexico City. She has 1 sister and a half sister from her dads side who lives in Lima, Peru. Anahi suffered from anorexia when she was younger. Anahi became famous for playing Mia in Rebelde and for being a member of the well known group RBD. She had a relationship with Christopher Uckermann for eight months and eventually broke up because they were better off as friends.

Anahi considers her RBD members as her brothers and sisters. She has said that her other than Dulce acts like the group's baby.Anahi also dated Derrick James while they were filming Rebelde.

In an episode of RBD: La Familia Anahi says to Alfonso Herrera's character "does it show that I took a year off" which lead many to think that Anahi's real birthday is really May 14 1982 instead of 1983. There were also rumor that she dated Alfonso Herrera better know as "Poncho" another member of RBD.
nahí was born on May 14, 1983 in Mexico city, Mexico. She started her career in 1988 in the Mexican program "Chiquilladas". While she was a child she participated in various movies such as: Había una vez una estrella (1989), Nacidos para morir (1991) Ganador, El (1992) and Ayudame compadre (1992).

She proved she was a very talented actress, and also participated in many local soaps during her childhood: "Muchachitas" (1991), "Ángeles sin paraíso" (1992), _"Madres Egoístas" (1993)_, "Alondra" (1995), "Tu y yo" (1996), "Mi pequeña traviesa" (1998) and "Vivo por Elena" (1998).

Anahí also pursued a career as singer and recorded 3 albums: "Anahí", "¿Hoy es mañana?" and "Baby Blue". After filming other Mexican soaps she got her first leading role as sweet and innocent Jovana Luna Guerra in the Mexican series "Primer amor... a mil por hora" (2000).

Soon after, Anahí managed to recover from an eating disorder from which she had been suffering while filming the series. She proved to be perfectly well when she entered the Mexican hit series "Clase 406" (2002), where she portrayed Jessica Riquelme. In 2004, she was invited to be the leading actress of the Mexican series "Rebelde" (2004), where she portrays Mía.
